Join us for a tour of the historic churchyard in Old Town

Voices from the Past

Join Isles of Scilly Museum, Isles of Scilly Parish churches and friends for an informal tour of the historic churchyard in Old Town on St Mary’s.

Meet at the church door and we will escort you through the churchyard, meeting characters from the history of the islands who will share their stories.

The churchyard at Old Town is filled with fascinating characters from ships captains and the victims of the Schiller disaster,  a daredevil pioneer who helped shape naval aviation and a world renowned opera singer.
